I often have to force the app multiple times to input the text/photo where I want it Regardless of where you put the cursor, it often and repeatedly forces itself down to the very bottom of the note and inputs there. There are problems with inserting the text input cursor at various points in the note. Inserting pictures of book pages (which I often do) frequently crashes the app, which seems to be something to do with the feature that tries to scan the page I'm taking a picture of and convert it into an e-reader page I have lost huge chunks of work before because the app has failed to save it. This should not be a problem and it never was before. Sometimes it refuses to save my note at all, say if my internet connection is intermittent which is often as I write while I travel. Since Evernote switched to cloud storage or whatever is behind all this: I have the latest model Samsung phone, so it's not a problem with processing power or whatever. Often, however, I find myself grappling with faults and shit performance before I can simply do my work using the app. It has become an essential part of my writing process but I am sick and tired of performance issues slowing me down when I just want to insert ideas into notes as quickly as possible. I have used this app every single day, constantly, as a writer, to make notes that eventually go into my writing.
